The light that will pass through the lenses will determine the formation of the image.

Another one is the field of view; this is the relationship between the magnifying power of the binocular with the distance of the eyepiece and the lenses. This determines the width of the image being displayed per 1000 yards. The higher the magnification, the lesser will be the width of the image.
The twilight factor of the binocular should also be considered. This means how your binocular will perform even in the dimness of the area. Twilight factor is the calculation between the magnification power of the lenses and the diameter of the objective lenses. The one with higher twilight factor is the one who will perform better in dim areas.
Weight is also considered. Since you will be bringing the binocular with you, it is a must that you should think of it. Whether you wear it around your neck or hold it in your hand, this will be factor for your comfort while doing your search.
The focal point of the binocular is also a factor in choosing your binocular. Either you will be using the center focus or the individual focus, choose the one that fits for you.
